Shipping FAQ

We offer trackable international shipping on orders.

Standard Shipping Times

Please allow 1-3 weeks for national orders and 2-3 weeks for international orders. Please note due to high demand shipping times may be longer in some instances. We recommend choosing the priority shipping service at checkout for urgent delivery requirements.

We provide delivery tracking information so you can stay updated and we also have an order tracking page on our website so you can check progress of your delivery at your convenience.

Processing time

The order processing time on average is 1-3 days but in peak times might take up to 5 business days subject to individual items. Processing includes picking items, checking quality, packing, and sending your orders to the courier for dispatch. After all these procedures, the tracking number will be provided to you. Processing time should be added to the estimated delivery time.


In rare occasions, delivery may take longer than the standard shipping times stated above. Delays can be caused by third party transport and postal services, border control or customs which is unfortunately beyond our control. On that basis we cannot accept responsibility for shipping delays once the item has left our possession as we aren't able to influence aspects beyond our control. Please contact us should your order be delayed. We seek your patience and understanding should this happen and we will strive to keep you updated on all progress. 

Separate shipments

We try to only ship complete orders. However, in some particular cases, your order may be split into several packages if items are stored in separate dispatch centres. In this case, you will be provided with multiple tracking numbers to keep you informed.

Customs fees

With 99% of orders, customs fees do not apply and should not be a concern to you. Please contact us should you have any questions on this aspect. In some rare cases you may be charged for handling fees and country specific taxes as your order passes through customs. Silverback Outdoors does not accept liability for any such fees encountered. Any charges incurred on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel (this also applies to retail & wholesale customers).

Silverback Outdoors unfortunately does not have control over these charges, therefore we can’t tell you what the cost would be as they vary per item, per country, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

Track your order

If your order has been shipped using a trackable service, you can follow its journey to you. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is fulfilled. Simply click on your tracking link as per the instructions in the email to view the up to date tracking information.

Missed delivery / Return to sender (RTS)

In the instance of a missed delivery to you (ie: you're not home when delivery is attempted) your local postal service will put a notice through your door to collect the parcel from your nearest post office branch or book a redelivery. We strongly recommend that you take appropriate action or collect the item within the time frame stated upon the notice slip otherwise the postal service will return your package to the sender. Subject to which dispatch facility we have shipped from will determine the length of time it will take the parcel to return to sender. 

As a matter of company policy, if you don't collect your parcel in the time frame stated by your postal service and it does get returned to sender or you enter incorrect shipping information and the item is returned to sender then you will be liable for any additional postal charges, restocking fees and admin fees incurred by us to resend you the item. Only after payment is received for such charges will the item be resent with absolutely no exceptions. Our liability as seller has been fulfilled upon the first attempted delivery to your property, after this the responsibility is yours to collect your delivery in the given timescale from your local delivery office and we are not responsible for updating you or advising you on any aspect of this process. 

Please note that should you take advantage of one of our just pay shipping offers, you will need to re-pay for shipping in an RTS event as the money to ship the item to you has already been spent. While this event is extremely rare as most people will collect their items quickly, we feel it necessary to have a transparent policy on this matter. 

Shipping Service Changes

We have order fulfilment centres around the world and thus try to ensure that your order is sent from the centre that services your country most efficiently. However this is not always possible and in cases where stock runs out in your closest dispatch centre, for example a UK customer orders from us and our UK dispatch centre is out of stock for that item, we will then ship your order from the next most efficient centre with stock available. This may impact delivery times to you and we appreciate your patience should this occur for your order. We reserve the right to make such changes when deemed necessary to fulfil your order and will not be held liable to any delays encountered.

** Exceptions apply. Unfortunately, due to some specific customs procedures, the delivery to some countries is not available at this time. These countries include Algeria, Tunisia, Albania, Kosovo, Belarus and some others. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience.
